General

  • Tillful works with a network of 30+ lending partners to provide funding. We can get you pre-approved for the most appropriate credit options based on your Tillful Score when you sign up for a free account. Visit our Apply for Funding page to learn more.
  • To access your Tillful account, first try resetting your password. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact us via email at support@tillful.com immediately.
  • You can check your score from the previous week. We will be rolling out a score history feature that will allow you to view your scores from previous months. Stay tuned!
  • We recently released Tillful for iOS. You can learn more about this mobile app for Apple users and download it at: https://www.tillful.com/app. We currently do not have a mobile app for Android, but the Tillful Web App is responsive and easily accessible on mobile browsers. You can easily log into your Tillful account through your mobile internet browser here: https://app.tillful.com/signin
  • At the moment, Tillful does not have a way to filter transactions by a specific date range as the dashboard is meant to be a snapshot of the current financial health of your business.

How it Works

  • If you want to add an additional business to your existing Tillful account, you will need to create a separate login using an alternative email address.
  • No, checking your Tillful business credit score will not have an impact on your personal or business credit scores.
  • Our AI-based credit model factors in thousands of data points, including but not limited to: business industry, size of business, credit utilization, payment history, promptness of payment to generate your Tillful business credit score.

Credit Score

  • Different credit scoring models calculate credit scores based on a variety of factors. Tillful's AI-based credit model factors in thousands of data points, including but not limited to: business industry, size of business, credit utilization, payment history, promptness of payment to generate your Tillful business credit score.
  • Your Tillful business credit score is updated daily. We leverage transaction data from your bank and other publicly available data of your business to generate your business credit score. We do not use factors from your personal credit score.

  • You must connect at least one depository account to view your Tillful business credit score.
  • If you have recently connected an additional bank account, then your business credit score may reflect changes based on the additional data that has been included to generate your business credit score.
  • There are different scoring methodologies used to generate your credit score and three different credit bureaus that generate scores for you. The three primary credit bureaus recognized nationally are TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax. Each of these bureaus may have different information about you based on what financial institutions report information to the bureaus and when they report the information.
  • Excellent: 83 – 100 Good: 76 – 82 Fair: 66 – 75 Poor: 52 – 65 Very Poor: 0 – 51
  • There’s no single way to define a good credit score or bad credit score. For guidance, we provide a score range on a scale of ‘Excellent’ to ‘Very Poor’: Excellent: 83 – 100 Good: 76 – 82 Fair: 66 – 75 Poor: 52 – 65 Very Poor: 0 – 51
  • You can check your Tillful business credit score online as many times as you like. There is no impact to your personal or business credit scores.
  • Tillful does not perform a soft nor hard credit pull to generate your Tillful business credit score. For this reason, it will not appear as an inquiry on your credit report, and will not impact your personal nor business credit scores.
  • Tillful is a business financial health tool used to help business owners understand their credit and cash flow. The three primary credit bureaus recognized nationally by lenders include TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax.
  • Unlike traditional business credit scores, the Tillful business credit score is generated from an AI engine that processes your business’s cash flow data and publicly available information. The Tillful business credit score does not use any personal credit information and has no relation to your personal credit score.

Account Settings

  • Your company name is pulled from a national database and is based on the name registered to your company. For this reason, the company name cannot be edited directly. Please send your requests to support@tillful.com
  • To update your account password, go to Settings and click “Reset”. An email will then be sent to you with instructions on how to reset your password.
  • We will be rolling out more features soon. In the meantime, please send your request to support@tillful.com
  • We’re sorry to hear that you want to leave us, and we’d love to know if there’s anything we can do to continue working with you! To delete your Tillful account, please send your request to support@tillful.com
  • If you decide to cancel your Tillful account, you will be given the choice to whether or not you would like to keep the data to access it later or if you would like to delete it. Currently, our policy is to keep all data available by default so that it will be available to you in case you would like to access it later. However, we do not guarantee that we will continue this practice indefinitely, and we reserve the right to delete data from an inactive account at any time. Keep in mind, if you decide to become a Tillful member again in the future, you won’t be able to regain access to the information that was stored in your previous account.
  • To remove a connected bank account, click on “See Accounts” and click “Remove”.
  • Please send your request to support@tillful.com. We will need to first verify the identity and ownership of the account holder. Upon successful verification, we can then export your Tillful account data.
  • Tillful is a financial health dashboard currently created for businesses within the United States. If your bank does not operate checking accounts domestically, we may not be able to retrieve this data to generate a credit score for you. You can contact us at support@tillful.com and we are happy to check for you.

Security and Privacy

  • We collect your personal data: – when you provide your email address, your name, and your company name and address – if you connect to your bank account(s), we collect your bank transaction data. However, we do not store your credentials to your accounts. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.
  • Yes, we take your security and privacy very seriously. We use a secure 3rd party to connect your bank accounts. We do not know nor store your bank’s login information. We use bank-level encryption to ensure your data security and privacy.
  • Data from your connected bank account(s) along with other publicly available data on your business is used to generate your Tillful business credit score. We need to link your bank account(s) in order to be able to assess your bank statements and transactional information. This enables our platform to automatically assess your business credit performance quickly to bring you value in seeing your financial information all in one place.
  • Your business and personal information is our priority. The information you provide is strictly used to help us generate a financial dashboard that aims to reflect your business financial health most accurately. We do not sell your business or personal information to third parties. To learn more, read our Privacy Policy.
  • We ensure your data is safe. We use a combination of the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) and Transport Layer Security (TLS) to help keep your information safe end-to-end.

Connection Issues

  • We use a third party provider called Plaid that requires users to authenticate information that is integrated with banks in the United States. We will be adding more banks to the list. If you have any request, please contact us at support@tillful.com.
  • By default, once you have connected your bank(s), you will not need to re-authenticate in order to refresh the data. However, in the event you have changed passwords or accounts, your bank may require you to go through the authentification process again.
  • At the moment, Tillful only supports financial institutions located in the United States. However, we will be expanding to other regions soon.
